During his distinguished legal career which spans over 30 years, Kevin has acted as Corporate Counsel for some of Australia’s largest companies including Colonial-Mutual Life, Quiksilver and Target. Kevin’s corporate expertise was greatly enhanced through his most recent role at Coles Myer Limited as Company Secretary and General Manager of Legal Services, where he conducted and supervised a wide range of commercial legal matters.

His major responsibilities with Coles Myer included the management of major commercial litigation, involvement in mergers and acquisitions, trade mark protection, franchising, trade practices compliance, corporate governance and acting as a Director on all Coles Myer subsidiary and joint venture companies.

Kevin has had extensive involvement with regulatory authorities such as the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) and Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC). He has assisted in the preparation of Coles Myer’s submission to the Joint Parliamentary Inquiry into the Retail Sector, appeared before the Dawson Inquiry into the review of the Trade Practices Act and was a member of the Ethical Clothing Trades Council set up by the New South Wales Government to report into the exploitation of home workers in the clothing industry.

Kevin is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Company Secretaries. Kevin's outside interests include being a keen follower of horse racing and he is a member of the Victorian Racing Club and the Melbourne Racing Club. He also enjoys playing tennis and watching Australian Rules Football.
