Jeffrey has been in the patent attorney profession for more than forty years, working in all areas relating to patents, registered designs and trade marks. In the patent area he specialises in polymers, pharmaceuticals, lubricants and chemical engineering. Jeffrey has represented clients from broad industry backgrounds in the trade mark and design areas, advising on obtaining and enforcing such rights. He also has significant experience in the management of intellectual property portfolios for large Australian and international companies. He has worked with many companies to protect their intellectual property rights overseas. As a result, he has established a solid international network of attorneys who are able to act to obtain and enforce patent, trade mark and registered design rights for his clients in those respective countries.

For six years, Jeffrey was an Examiner appointed by the Professional Standards Board, the Commonwealth government body responsible for the assessment of persons seeking registration as Patent and/or Trade Marks Attorneys.

In his leisure time Jeffrey enjoys playing golf, tennis, bushwalking and snow skiing. He also enjoys wine, collecting wine and talking about wine.
